Hi!

I’m Anh Noel, a writer, artist and editor living on Gadigal Land.

I’m currently in my last year of a Bachelor of Science in Philosophy and Mathematics from the University of Sydney. I was the Features Editor for the UNSW newspaper Gamamari (previously Tharunka) in 2023. I have also worked as an editor and contributor for Honi Soit, ARNA, PULP and Growing Strong.

I love investigative journalism, specifically deep-diving into insular corners of culture and history. In my spare time, I enjoy making semi-autobiographical comics for friends and family.

This is a 70th Anniversary edition of Tharunka that I edited and contributed to. It’s comprised of interviews and features on previous editors, the paper’s radical history, censorship laws, student journalism and art.
Here is a link to a documentary I helped created, screened in 2024, for the 70th Anniversary of Tharunka.
